Mission
JOB PURPOSE:
Operate all the Civil and Fire Protection daily works of maintenance activities along with all facilities in the LRT stations and buildings to enhance the smooth operations for buildings and ensure maintenance reliability.
Profile
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Assist Facility Management Engineers with daily work activities to enhance the efficiency and reliability of LRT buildings and stations maintenance.
- Monitor and report the performance of fire protection subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed properly.
- Operating along with the maintenance activities according to the business needs and roster planning.
- Diagnose reported faults and execute maintenance and repair action plans under the guidance of Facility Management Engineers.
- Optimize maintenance processes through the proper utilization of tools and spare parts.
- Ensure the availability of tools and spare parts in the warehouse, reporting any shortages promptly.
- Apply the proper checklist regulations to ensure the equipment availability and reliability as maintenance activities require.
- Monitor and ensure the implementation of the housekeeping activities in LRT Bader Depot as required.
- Prepare the relevant statistical maintenance report on a regular basis; (Daily – Weekly – Monthly).
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and following the safety rules and permits as instructed.
- Perform technical tasks as instructed by the Facility Management Engineers, including painting, plumbing, gypsum works, metal works, concrete and masonry repairs, fire protection tasks, tiling, and monitoring housekeeping activities.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Vocational Diploma/ or a suitable relevant degree.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Good acknowledgement in Civil and Facilities repairing works as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years’ experience in (civil, mechanical, electrical) maintenance works.
- Metro and/or train stations and depot civil construction experience is a plus.
