Job Purpose:

• Managing the overall maintenance of all Electrical & Automation of the plant ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness considering Safety, Quality, Hygiene, and Productivity.
• Managing the maintenance financial objectives of the Electrical & Automation by forecasting requirements, preparing annual CAPEX & OPEX budget, scheduling and monitoring its allocations and assure that expenditures are within budget limits.
• Managing and developing Electrical & Automation warehouse spare part material’s stock and determine inventory levels.
• Coordinating / participating in the investment projects with Engineering Department and central team on the scope of Electrical & Automation.
• Support in making decisions based on technical skills and data analysis, for any activity related to Electrical & Automation to ensure the continuity of the production processes.
• Defines training needs in cooperation with his manager for his subordinates.

Main Accountabilities:

• Responsible for overall maintenance management of the Electrical & Automation operations including power generation, transmission and distribution, building services and cheese manufacturing (Preparation, Cooking and UHT). While managing this using SAP PM.
• Planning, scheduling organizing and executing preventive, predictive and shutdowns maintenance programs and follow up their executions to maximize productivity and minimize downtime in a timely manner to ensure the continuous process of production.
• Ensure that the spare parts availability with the proper quality and quantity in stock.
• Controlling maintenance costs to ensure meeting the yearly maintenance budget.
• Diagnosing breakdown problems.
• Dealing with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs.
• Follow and assure instruments calibration INHOUSE using calibration meters.
• Keeping monthly updated electrical wiring, instruments data and parameters to be available on field and in the electrical /automation workshop and record modifications in ISO forms.
• Plan layout of electric power generating plants and distribution lines and stations.
• Apply annual thermography inspection for all electric panels in the plant and prepare corrective and preventive actions according to the inspection report.
• Calculate and analyse the electrical consumption in all site meters.
• Duty of communication with electrical authorities and receive cut off notifications.
• Follow-up power factor KPI with authorities.
• Keeping monthly updated PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs with English symbols and comments.
• Insure that the automation programs are properly maintained and used to guarantee the delivery of the requested budget volume of the finished goods.
• Responsible for continues innovations for the automation system for continues operation improvements.
• Involved with designing, developing and calculating capacity needs for Electrical & Automation related to new projects / working with EEM methodology.
• Modify programs and hardware for the production and manufacturing processes to increase monitoring/control of process and increase productivity.
• Participate in the execution of engineering projects on site FAT/SAT approach.
