The Opportunity

We're looking for a Fullstack Developer to support the modernization of a critical records management system used by local county governments in the U.S. You'll help rebuild legacy components with modern tools, while ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

Tech Environment

Legacy Stack: VB6, WinForms, .NET Framework 4.x, Crystal Reports

Target Stack: PostgreSQL, Node.js, Python, React
(Open to equivalent experience in adjacent ecosystems)

Your Mission

Replace a large set of Crystal Reports with scalable, web-based reporting solutions

Help define a future-ready architecture that supports legacy compatibility and SaaS evolution

Work closely with product and engineering teams to balance stability with innovation

Challenges You’ll Tackle

Minimal automated testing and high regression risk

Slow development cycles due to tight coupling and complexity

Need for engineering leadership to both stabilize legacy code and drive modernization

What We’re Looking For

Strong full stack experience, ideally across React, Node.js, Python, and PostgreSQL

Familiarity with .NET or Windows-based legacy systems is a plus

Ability to navigate complex systems with a modernization mindset

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
