The firm's core work is holistic at its approach, and it has divisions in structural, MEP, Geotechnical, and emerging construction technology such as 3D printing of concrete, technology, and 3D laser scanning.
Responsibilities
- Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Assist with processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Help manage vendor and customer accounts.
- Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements with company records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Supporting Month-End and Year-End Closing:
- Help prepare financial reports and summaries.
- Assist senior accountants in closing books on time.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure documentation complies with company policies and legal regulations.
- Help prepare for audits by organizing financial documents.
- General Administrative Support:
- Provide support for other accounting-related tasks as needed.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams about financial matters.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate or minimum 1 year of experience in accounting.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Good numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Willingness to learn and support the accounting team.
