At Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional culinary experiences rooted in quality, creativity, and consistency. As Junior Sous Chef in the Garde Manger department, you will play a vital role in supervising the cold kitchen operations, leading the team, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation to exceed guest expectations.
What You Will Do
Oversee daily Garde Manger operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Select, train, coach, and motivate kitchen team members while upholding cultural and core standards.
Support menu development and creative planning, minimizing waste while maximizing flavor and value.
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP practices throughout the department.
Control labor and operating costs through effective scheduling, purchasing, and inventory management.
Monitor incoming food shipments and maintain supplier quality standards.
Conduct menu tastings and pre-shift meetings to educate staff on ingredients, preparation, and presentation.
Collaborate with other culinary sections to ensure smooth service flow during peak business periods.
Interact with guests when needed to address feedback and enhance the dining experience.
What You Bring
Culinary diploma or degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 3–5 years of professional kitchen experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory Garde Manger role.
Strong knowledge of international cold kitchen techniques and modern plating trends.
Proven leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to food safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
