- Provide prompt and effective legal support to all Groups / Divisions / Departments / Units of the Company, for all their legal requirements such as standard legal documentation like mortgage agreement, settlement agreement, memorandums and articles of association, etc., authentication, translation and handling civil and criminal proceedings against the defaulter, etc... in a prompt and timely manner.
- Exclusively and independently strategize, handle, manage and deal with all the complex and serious prosecution and litigation cases relating to the Company from beginning to end to ensure Company’s interests are fully protected from any adverse financial impact, under the direct supervision of the Head of Legal Department.
- Consult and handle all corporate legal processes e.g. Intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offering, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents)

- Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings.

- Keep up-to-date-with legal developments in the various fields of law.
- Initiating litigation, preparing best possible solution as an expert and appearing and representing the Company before various courts directly or through external counsels on behalf of the Company, preparing statements of claims, defenses, replies, issues, pleadings, evidences and submissions of civil cases relating to problematic and non-performing loans of commercial / corporate borrowers; meeting with external lawyers, counsels, experts, accountants, public prosecutor and other officials of the Court to present Company’s point of view.
- Filing precautionary and executionary documents instituting lawsuits, filing appeals and cassations with courts, governmental departments, law enforcement authorities and bodies, police, public prosecution.
- Supervising and coordinating on legal and regulatory matters pertaining to the Company with the other authorities, local investigation agencies and authorities.
- Handling criminal actions referred by the Company by drafting applications, petitions, defenses, evidences and submissions to the Police, Public Prosecution, Courts and any other Law Enforcement Authorities and other procedural functions.
- Compiling and submission of all documents, obtaining approvals, coordinating with officials of the Customers and Government departments in connection with incorporation of new companies, renewals, restructuring and registration of existing entities and branches of foreign companies referred by the Customers.
- Handling notarization / attestation / authentication formalities of legal documents including, Powers of Attorney, Board Resolutions, Addendums, etc. before the Notary Public, Ministries and other Government Departments.
- Follow up of civil cases filed by and against the Company, meeting with external lawyers, court appointed experts, external customers, etc.
- Handling court attachments on property of defaulted customers, attending for attachment procedures, follow up with court bailiffs, auctions, coordinating with concerned Internal Customers for negotiation with bidders, etc.
- Establishing good working relationship with Internal Customers to understand roles and develop mutual understanding on various legal matters.
- Effective assistance to the Internal Customers as well as law enforcement authorities in the investigations conducted in relation to fraud transactions, etc.
Keeping abreast of all legal developments, legal and other official practices and procedures in Egypt and jurisdictions on a continuing basis, reviewing legal manuals and reports, court judgements, changes in the judicial system and amendments in various statutes and legislations, promulgation of new laws, regulations, legislations, presidential and ministerial decrees, by-laws and orders and advising the same to legal department.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
- Registered in Bar Association as a lawyer and has experience in Company or financial institutions or international law firm or big local firm.
- Well versed with the Egyptian Laws especially on the Commercial / Companies laws, laws of Civil and Criminal procedures, etc. and having good practical working knowledge, skills and experience in the legal field especially litigation for recovery of non-performing loans.
- Computer literate.
