We are currently seeking a talented and motivated power electronics engineer to join our dynamic team in Performance Drives & Motion business. As a power electronics engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and optimization of power systems and components for our AC drive products. The ideal candidate shall have a background in power electronics preferably related to Drives, excellent team collaboration skills, a positive mindset to learn, self-motivation, and a strong team player mindset
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the design and development of power electronics systems, components, testing and products, with a primary focus on AC drives.
- Utilize power system analysis tools to evaluate, simulate, and optimize power flow and conversion within our products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics engineers, mechanics engineers, software engineers, and product owners, to translate customer needs into actionable engineering solutions.
- Participate in agile development processes, including team meetings, sprints, and iterative design, ensuring efficient collaboration and timely project delivery.
- Support testing and validation of power systems and components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in power electronics engineering, integrating relevant advancements into our product development processes.
- Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, processes, and tools.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Drives or a related field.
- We are looking for a young engineer or someone with few years of experience
- Familiarity with power simulation tools and other relevant engineering software.
- Basic knowledge of power electronics design, including Power components, Power modules, and printed circuit board design.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle engineering challenges and find creative solutions
- Good communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for being part of a cohesive team.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on producing high-quality deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience with EMC is a plus.
