About The Role
- As the Product Manager for Sylndr’s Acquisition Arm, you will lead the product strategy and roadmap for acquiring cars from customers who want to sell their used vehicles. Additionally, you will drive improvements in the inspection process, aiming to increase efficiency, reduce inspection times, and leveragenew technologies.
- This role requires you to collaborate closely with key stakeholders and the tech team to design solutions that enhance the customer experience during the selling process, ensuring convenience, transparency, and trust.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with customers, your team, and stakeholders to identify problems and growth opportunities.
- Conduct rapid research to assess opportunities in the acquisition and inspection areas, focusing on customer pain points.
- Stay inspired by new technologies, competitors, and market trends to recommend opportunities to improve Sylndr’s offerings.
- Take responsibility for forming hypotheses, establishing measurable outcomes, and maintaining a prioritized backlog of product initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders to align on the strategy and vision for your product area.
- Define and track KPIs to measure the success of your initiatives and drive the product roadmap.
- Lead product discovery efforts, including collaborating with Engineering, SMEs, and third-party partners to validate and test solutions quickly and cost-effectively.
- Run stakeholder sessions to define key customer outcomes and product features.
- Champion solutions that benefit both customers and the business.
- Define use cases, user journeys, and acceptance criteria to guide the team during development.
- Lead product design and execution, ensuring efficient, cost-effective product delivery aligned with business goals.
- Prioritize features, set the team direction, and foster momentum throughout the development process.
- Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage features throughout the lifecycle.
- Break down deliverables into manageable chunks to iterate and release value early and often.
- Collaborate with the tech team to plan sprints and releases, ensuring coordination across product areas.
- Monitor and measure the success of product features and lead decisions on persistence, iteration, or discontinuation.
- Lead efforts to continually improve Sylndr’s product management practices.
- Stay current with industry developments, methodologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to hiring and mentoring first-rate product managers at Sylndr.
- Set the standard for high-quality product management and decision-making.
Who You Are
- Analytics & Performance Tracking: Experience setting up product analytics and dashboards to measure the performance of acquisition and inspection processes.
- Experimentation & AB Testing: Proficient in designing and executing experiments and analyzing results to inform product decisions.
- Autonomy in Product Discovery: Proven experience working independently to identify and validate the right things to build, without being told what to build.
- Experience in Full Product Lifecycle: Extensive experience developing complex products from ideation through launch and iteration.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and facilitation skills to manage relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Product Design Passion: Strong interest in product design and the ability to guide design decisions based on customer and business needs.
- Automotive Domain Expertise: Ability to quickly gain in-depth knowledge of the automotive market and apply it to product strategy.
- 4+ years of product management experience in Product based organizations
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams without authority and driving product outcomes.
- Demonstrated ownership over multiple product areas in a previous role, including responsibilities for strategy, KPI setup, goal-setting, and execution of roadmap
- Ability to build alignment with a cross-functional mission team in a collaborative way that is aligned with our Guiding Principles

- Strong data analytics skills with the ability to derive insights from large data sets
