The Solidarity Fab Labs project focuses on enabling youth (18–35 years old), especially students and entrepreneurs, to turn their ideas into reality using digital fabrication technologies and skill-building programs across multiple locations in Egypt.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Project Coordinator to support the smooth execution of activities across our five project locations. This full-time hybrid role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, are resourceful, and enjoy solving problems on the go.

You'll be based primarily at our Cairo HQ, with occasional visits to other sites as needed. Your work will directly support the implementation of workshops, trainings, and events that empower youth with hands-on skills and access to makerspace facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Coordinate and follow up on project activities across all locations

• 
  Organize logistics, materials, and scheduling for workshops, events, and trainings

• 
  Communicate with local staff, volunteers, and vendors to ensure on-ground execution

• 
  Conduct quick field visits to support or supervise activities when needed

• 
  Monitor timelines and flag potential delays or issues

• 
  Manage documentation, activity tracking, and reporting using Google Suite tools

• 
  Support volunteer coordination and training when applicable

• 
  Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to align on priorities and deliverables

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in coordination, logistics, or community project implementation

• 
  Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to “tinker” and find practical solutions

• 
  Comfortable with hands-on support and multitasking across various operational areas

• 
  Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)

• 
  Good written and spoken English

• 
  Willingness and ability to travel within Egypt on short notice (travel arranged/reimbursed by company)
