WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Handle internal staff requisitions.
- Issue purchase orders for local and international markets in line with the company’s procurement cycle.
- Analyze supplier offers to select the best in terms of quality, delivery, and pricing.
- Track purchase orders from issuance to delivery, ensuring timely payments.
- Review and verify commercial documentation before submitting to the Finance department.
- Maintain and update purchasing follow-up reports regularly.
- Monitor departmental budgets and control procurement expenses.
- Evaluate internal supplier lists on a semi-annual basis.
- Ensure subcontractors submit required prevention plans.
- Support suppliers in meeting quality improvement plans.
- Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and materials.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
BSc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2–4 years of experience in procurement or operations
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good command of English (spoken and written)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to change
Alexandria resident is a must
Preferably experienced in water and wastewater treatment industry
Solid background in mechanical/electrical maintenance is a plus
BU: Water Division - Water Africa (except Morocco & South Africa)
