This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP PP solutions to meet business requirements.
- Provide expert-level support for existing SAP PP functionalities.
- Conduct requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP related issues.
- Collaborate with other SAP modules to ensure seamless integration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP PP processes.
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
- Contribute to process improvements and optimization initiatives within production planning.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects related to SAP PP.
- Work with various PP functionalities like Demand Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Production Orders, Shop Floor Control.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of production planning processes, including planning strategies, MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor control.
- Expertise in master data management (MDM) within SAP PP.
- Experience with SAP PP sub-modules (e.g., Demand Management, MRP, Capacity Planning, Production Orders).
- Proficiency in ABAP debugging and basic programming is a plus.
