The I&C Senior Engineer provides direct interface with the customer and assists in the training of customer’s staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides necessary support and input to the Worley Project Manager and team.
- Represents Worley at internal & external meetings on the project.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of Worley I&C systems and procedures for the project and performs work in accordance with Worley internal processes and procedures.
- Coordinates effectively with other project personnel.
- Completes reports of work performed accurately and on time.
- Reports on project technical scope performance against the baseline plan.
- Assists in ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.
- Performs work in adherence to the overall project execution plan and project quality plan.
- Reviews design basis documents (Basic Design, Detailed Design) and calculations pertaining to vendor design.
- Reviews the PSAR and FSAR for compliance with I&C Codes and Standards.
- Reviews safety and hazard assessments.
- Monitors construction of NPP’s and associated structures; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design.
- Reviews as-built design drawings and modifications.
- Reviews, comments and prepares drafts of client correspondence pertaining to I&C engineering.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in I&C, Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering or equivalent is a must.
- Strong technical skills; 8+ years of experience in I&C engineering on large scale projects with multi-cultural teams.
- Experience in I&C Nuclear Russian Design is required.
- Recognized as having a specialized depth or breadth of expertise.
- Excellent report writing skills.
