Job Description
The Data Services, Clients Pipeline & Engagements Senior Manager will be part of the Visa Consulting & Analytics team which delivers high impact advisory and implementation support to Visa’s clients, including data-driven insights and solutions. The geographic focus of the role will be the North Africa, Levant, and Pakistan region (NALP). The core mandate of the role is to support clients in scoping, executing and implementing data-driven projects and use cases. The role will be heavily focused on introducing and selling VCA’s data-driven customer projects in the region, working with the data science teams to deliver the projects with business-focused analysis and insights for the clients, support in developing project deliverables based on data insights, and ensuring the project delivery quality.
The role will deliver subject matter expertise and consulting support to VCA clients, with the main objective of deepening client relationships and optimizing their performance through delivering innovative data solutions that enhance customer engagement.
Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Area:
- Collaborate with VCA colleagues, Visa account executives and other Visa functions to cultivate and manage a pipeline of data-driven engagement opportunities with the issuers, acquirers, merchants and government clients
- Manage multiple data-driven projects simultaneously, coordinating data science and consultancy efforts across various clients:
- Analyze client needs across the focus markets and identify opportunities for data-driven consulting assignments with potential clients, across different industries
- Support and contribute to sales pitches for VCA’s data-driven services
- Lead or contribute to internal problem-solving sessions
- Own project deliveries in both coordination and delivery role
- Develop and own project deliverables from project kickoff to closure, ensuring that client deliverables meet quality standards, and achieve delivery milestones
- Prepare for, lead, and participate in client discussions
- Work closely with other Visa teams, including Products, BD, Risk, Marketing, Digital Solutions, Digital Partnerships & Ventures, Innovation Center etc., to ensure a seamless Consulting experience
- Suggest new data solutions for future development in VCA or updates/enhancements to existing solutions.
Key Competencies:

- Demonstrated experience driving data-driven projects and delivering consulting solutions in payments, ideally leading consulting firms
- Preferably experienced at using payment data or external data to identify client needs and develop tailored solutions across various industries and focus markets
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, set and achieve delivery milestones, and ensure quality outcomes across diverse client engagements
- Experienced in preparing and supporting sales pitches, facilitating problem-solving sessions, and communicating insights effectively to both internal teams and senior client stakeholders
- Demonstrates strong diplomatic skills and the ability to navigate multi-functional environments while driving desired client outcomes
- Possesses both regional and global experience, adding valuable insights to consulting solutions for diverse markets
Qualifications
This not a data scientist position, the role requires core consultancy skills and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business Administration, Management or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
- At least 8-10 years of overall professional experience
- Strong background in consulting, with demonstrated skills in client engagement, solution design, and stakeholder management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting – preferably with data-driven projects record
- Experience managing data-centric projects and delivering analytics solutions to clients
- Proven track record supporting sales pitches and business development for data products or analytics consulting
- Solid understanding of data visualization, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior client stakeholders
- Experience working across regional and global markets, providing data-driven solutions tailored to diverse industries
- Superior project management abilities, with a focus on timely delivery and quality outcomes in data services
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and project scopes
- Strong team collaboration and interdisciplinary skills, comfortable working in multi-functional environments
- Willingness to travel and work onsite as required
- Travel around NALP is required.
