Job Description
Seeking Senior Site Engineer for ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Systems will be responsible for the on-site execution, supervision, and technical management of all ELV system installations for large-scale projects. This role requires strong technical expertise in various ELV disciplines, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of site engineers and technicians to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Personal Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in the design, implementation, and management of ELV systems, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- In-depth understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations pertaining to ELV systems.
- Professional certification in ELV, networking, or related disciplines is preferred.
- Expertise in implementing various ELV systems, ensuring seamless delivery of large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with Vendors specialized ELV systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in guiding and developing junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Technical Skills
. Oversee and manage all on-site ELV system installations, including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, Intercom, Structured Cabling (Data & Voice), IPTV, Building Management Systems (BMS) integration, Parking Management Systems, and Audio/Visual Systems.. Ensure all ELV works are executed in strict accordance with approved designs, specifications, shop drawings, local building codes, international standards, and project schedules.. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with quality control plans and industry best practices.. Coordinate with the main contractor, other MEP disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), civil teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and avoid conflicts.. Manage and supervise ELV subcontractors and in-house technical teams, ensuring their work meets project requirements and quality standards.. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain the project schedule.· Participate actively in project meetings and design reviews, providing insights and recommendations that enhance system integration and operational efficiency.· Conduct site surveys, technical studies and assessments to determine project requirements.· Provide training for end-users and maintenance personnel on the operation and upkeep of the ELV systems.· Develop and ensure that all project documentation is up to date. · Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians by providing technical expertise and guidance.
