Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Solar Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and providing technical expertise on solar energy solutions. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and project management skills to effectively promote Solar Sol’s products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the residential, commercial, and industrial solar energy sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, including contractors, developers, and corporate clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to client needs.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Technical Consultation:
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate solar energy potential and system requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to clients on solar PV system design, components, and financial benefits (ROI, payback periods, etc.).
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Project Coordination:
- Work closely with the project management and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assist in contract negotiations and closing deals while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and government incentives related to solar energy.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to refine offerings based on market needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in solar energy sales, business development, or technical consulting.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, components, and energy storage solutions.
- Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope) is a plus.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record in B2B/B2C sales, negotiation, and client relationship management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., NABCEP, PMP) are advantageous.
