Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to execute and manage complex structural engineering tasks for large-scale projects. This role requires advanced technical proficiency, value engineering skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality structural solutions under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in structural design, effective project management, and the ability to mentor junior team members while driving innovation and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Technical Design & Execution:
- Review blueprints, plans, and change orders for structural integrity and compliance.
- Perform complex structural calculations and ensure modeling accuracy.
- Design structural components for major projects, considering survey reports, zoning, and client requirements.
- Conduct value engineering to optimize outcomes and cost-effectiveness.
- Research new material technologies for durability and innovation.
- Create and present structural overviews, technical reports, and recommendations.
- Project Oversight & Delivery:
- Apply advanced engineering knowledge to plan and deliver projects with scope for independent accomplishment.
- Develop new approaches, adapt established guides, and draw conclusions from comparative analysis.
- Coordinate project schedules and deliverables to meet deadlines.
- Ensure the quality and completeness of all deliverables comply with company standards and industry codes.
- Team & Collaboration:
- Mentor Junior Structural Engineers and Assistants, providing training and sharing knowledge on structural innovations.
- Supervise design team members, including engineers and modelers.
- Lead interdepartmental collaboration and facilitate contributions across teams.
- Assist in improving design review processes while maintaining high quality standards.
Requirements

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
- Master’s degree preferred. Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in structural design and engineering.
- Proven leadership experience in design teams and project delivery.
- Proficiency in modeling methods, advanced calculations, and FEM software. Technical Skills:
- Strong presentation skills for technical and big-picture analyses.
- Self-motivated, commercially aware, and adaptable to shifting project priorities. Soft Skills & Other Requirements:
