We are seeking a passionate and experienced Staff DevOps Engineer to join our team within the Fintech domain. Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the DevOps vision and long-term strategy for the organization.
- Act as a technical authority and decision-maker for infrastructure, automation, and tooling.
- Influence architecture decisions to ensure scalability, security, and high availability.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and best practices.
- Lead design and management of multi-region, multi-cloud architectures.
- Oversee Infrastructure as Code at scale (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible).
- Architect disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
- Ensure systems meet cost optimization, performance, and compliance requirements.
- Architect organization-wide CI/CD standards and frameworks.
- Oversee pipeline governance to ensure security, compliance, and quality gates.
- Lead automation initiatives to improve build, test, and deployment efficiency.
- Set enterprise-level observability standards (metrics, logs, traces).
- Oversee SLO/SLI/SLA definitions and tracking for critical services.
- Lead complex incident response and root cause analysis for high-impact issues.
- Partner with security teams to embed DevSecOps practices into development workflows.
- Define and enforce infrastructure security policies across teams.
- Lead compliance efforts for SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA.
- Mentor senior and mid-level DevOps engineers.
- Help recruit, onboard, and develop engineering talent.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance DevOps culture.
- Act as a bridge between development, operations, security, and product teams.
- Advocate for automation and operational excellence across the organization.
- Present technical strategies to executives and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure roles, with a proven record managing large-scale, mission-critical systems.
- Strong multi-cloud expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep knowledge of IaC tools: Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, Ansible.
- Advanced Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) experience.
- Leadership in CI/CD using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Spinnaker.
- Hands-on with monitoring/logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic.
- Scripting/automation in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Strong in networking, zero-trust security, IAM, RBAC, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Ability to set technical direction and influence org-wide engineering decisions.
- Excellent mentorship, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven problem-solving under pressure; experienced in high-stakes incident response.
- Preferred certs: AWS SA-Pro, AWS DevOps Pro, CKA, CKAD, Azure DevOps Expert, Google Cloud DevOps.
- Experience with global infrastructure scaling and high-availability architecture.
