JOB PURPOSE:
The Core Banking (T24) Senior Developer performs design and implement new functionality and enhancements based on the logged user change requests, analyse and resolve production incidents. Partners with project teams to understand application's functional and infrastructure requirements to assist with identifying, assessing , designing, and documenting infrastructure that meets bank's needs and aligns with enterprise principles and practices.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY:
- Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and effective solution for the application's infrastructure design within project constraints.
- Responsible for identifying and communicating functional issues and risks associated with solutions and participates in infrastructure design reviews.
- Defines, promotes and encourages the use of engineering practices. Identifies opportunities for new applications.
- Provides consulting and coaching of the system functionalities. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information systems.
- Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications
- systems analys is activities. Analyzes complex application systems issues and provides technical solutions.
- Analyzes systems requirements and existing business processes and information systems and develops cost-effective information techno logy solutions.
- Serves as liaison between application systems and business for the development of new system processes and application programs.Participates in complex application systems analysis projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science or equivalent (a combination of education and experience will be considered). Prior leadership experience, in a technology company is a must.
High level of Arabic and English interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral.
EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have 1 to 4 years of Technical Development management experience, with at least 1~4 years as an IT practitioner, including planning, installation, configuration and implementation of enterprise-wide, server-based computing environments. Candidate must be familiar with Project Management Office activities, including experience managing development teams and wide-scale, enterprise-wide implementations.
