Assist in the development, performance and maintenance of the security activities of the organization with responsibility for the day to day activities of your team
Assist line manager in achieving complete security management systems in accordance with organization plans and adherence to legislation and agreed regulatory bodies processes and procedures
Oversee day-to-day security operations, including monitoring alerts, responding to incidents, and coordinating incident investigations.
Coordinate vulnerability assessments, prioritize remediation efforts, and ensure timely resolution of identified security vulnerabilities
Lead incident response efforts, providing guidance and direction to the team during security incidents
Assist line manager in providing all services in compliance with security standards insert as applicable
Work closely with IT and Business teams to identify security vulnerabilities, follow-up on outstanding findings, document new or updated technology infrastructure elements
Collaborate with other teams and departments to integrate security measures
Ensure the maintenance of comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of security procedures, configurations, and incidents
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of Proven experience in information security, with a proven track record of leadership
Relevant Certifications: (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+).
Strong technical knowledge in information security, including security tools and technologies
