Main Purpose of Job:
Responsible of the Daily chemical analysis which should be as per the approved Nestle Laboratory instructions for all RM, FP covering both Factories (F1 & F2) as well the coman, leading the P-test and handle all other related activities ( inventory, Calibration,..etc.), along with supporting any RCA related to Chemical deviations.
Key Outputs: List the main areas in which the job must deliver in order to successfully achieve its purpose.
1.Ensure that all practices & procedures inside the Chemistry lab is following NGLP, Biosafety & Biosecurity.
2.Perform analysis of RM,FP each as per the defined & approved QMS
3. Ensure results recording in lab records with respect to the NGLP requirements & as well on SAP.
4. Ensure compliance to the relevant Laboratory instructions and Good Laboratory practices
5. Ensure handling & participating in P-tests
6. Ensure effective communication with NQACs or other stakeholders with regards to all external analysis done by them or seeking guidance in terms of analysis procedures.
7. Ensure handling of NPD samples requirement for chemical analysis & ensure effective alignment of the timeline & sharing results on time.
8. Support in any RC analysis for chemical contamination
9. Handle chemistry Lab inventory & ensure that no expired materials are used and ensure stocks management.
10. Handle the Laboratory equipment Maintenance, Calibration & ICP.
11. Handle Monthly Monitoring required Chemical analysis and system creation on SAP for data tracking and consolidation.
12. Ensure Monitoring of Water & utilities as per the defined & approved QMS.
13. Ensure updating the trend analysis of water monitoring analysis and effective communication with any noticed deviation for quick RC & CA.
14. Ensure that all Laboratory documents are updated and part of QA documentation system.
15. Review all results, and communicate any deviation with relevant stalk-holders.
16. Ensure all method of analysis are up to date and effective.
17. Support in handling registration and export requirements whenever requested.
18. Maintain all required analysis of KQ if required according to the Plan.
19. Consolidate monthly accruals and estimated budget.
20. Provide required trainings to lab technician & share the scientific knowledge.
21.Contact supplier & issue PO for any Lab consumables or chemical required on a timely manner with respect to the updated inventory.
22.Ensure yearly self assessment of the chemistry lab against NGLP & Lab Safety & share the action plan for any gaps raised.
23.Ensure using Q-state in having in house reference samples & for monitoring of the methods of the analysis.
24. Handle the analysis of CAT & ensure results reflection on CAT & SAP.
25. Support external Audits requirements.
26. Provide the technical support for line lab with regards to the physiochemical analysis.
27.Perform any other duty/tasks assigned to him/her from time to time as per the business need
Key Experiences: What experiences are key to success in this job?
Academic Experience:
- Bachelor Degree of Food Science, Pharmacy or Agriculture (preferred food engineering)
- Minimum 2-3 Years Experience working in Food chemistry Labs
Operational Experience:
- Demonstrated competence in their specific field to support business requirements:
- Team member in a factory: Quality, Production, Application Group, FSC, procurement
- Team member in the quality department of the Market, PTC/R&D,Centre, NRC, NQACs
Business Experience:
Experience in successfully implementing quality assurance programs:
- Participating in project teams
- Leading part of a change effort
- Participating in audit teams and/or improvement projects
- Establishing networks of peers, in markets or factories
