Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bars Manager to join our team in the beautiful resort town of Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. As the Bars Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple bar venues, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a dedicated team of bar staff.
- Manage and optimize the daily operations of all bar venues within the property
- Develop and implement innovative beverage menus and pricing strategies to maximize profitability
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies
- Conduct regular inventory management and implement effective cost control measures
- Collaborate with other departments to create and execute special events and promotions
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, preparing reports and forecasts as needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene in all bar areas
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and introduce new concepts to enhance guest satisfaction
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bars Manager or similar role in a luxury hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
- Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal communication abilities
- In-depth knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and ordering processes
- Proficiency in bar management software and POS systems
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Creativity in developing innovative cocktails and beverage programs
- Expertise in craft cocktails, wine, spirits, and current beverage trends
- Knowledge of local liquor laws, regulations, and health and safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications in bartending or mixology are advantageous
- Familiarity with local culture and customs in Sharm El-Sheikh is beneficial
