About the Job:
We are seeking a commercially astute and strategically focused Bid Manager to join our dynamic pre-contracts team. This leadership role is pivotal in managing the full bid lifecycle for complex, multidisciplinary consultancy projects, with a particular emphasis on buildings and large-scale infrastructure. The successful candidate will shape winning proposals, advise on commercial strategy and risk, and drive excellence in bid submissions across the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
- Lead the end-to-end development of high-quality, competitive technical and commercial proposals for consultancy services across infrastructure and building sectors.
- Define bid strategies in alignment with client requirements, business objectives, and market positioning.
- Manage bid planning and coordination across multidisciplinary teams—technical, commercial, legal, and finance—to ensure timely, compliant, and compelling submissions.
- Analyze RFPs, tender documents, and client specifications to identify key deliverables, risks, and response requirements.
- Interpret and apply contract terms, especially under FIDIC and GCC formats, ensuring adherence to internal risk frameworks and approval processes.
- Drive pricing strategy development aligned with the technical scope, delivery methodology, and commercial goals.
- Maintain structured tracking of bid progress, status reporting, and bid/no-bid decisions; lead post-submission clarifications, presentations, and negotiations.
- Coach and mentor junior team members on proposal best practices, compliance checks, and continuous improvement in bid processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Contract Management) is a plus.
- 10–15 years of experience in bid management, proposals, or pre-contracts—preferably within engineering consultancy or construction.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, high-value bids across the GCC/KSA region, with strong understanding of local procurement practices.
- In-depth knowledge of consultancy contracts, especially under FIDIC.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently under tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.

- Expertise in commercial and contractual risk assessment, pricing alignment, and strategic bid development.
- Sharp attention to detail in reviewing technical content, proposal formatting, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management tools for bid preparation.
