• Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management, to secure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
• Implement inventory management systems and procedures to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Optimize logistics and distribution networks to streamline the delivery of medical supplies and equipment to various healthcare facilities within the organization.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including clinical departments and finance, to forecast demand, plan for future needs, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance, reduce costs, and increase operational resilience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical principles in all supply chain activities.
• Champion sustainability and ethical sourcing practices throughout the supply chain, promoting environmentally responsible procurement and logistics strategies.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the supply chain management team, nurturing talent and promoting professional development
Requirements
Education:• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Demonstrated track record of strategic planning, process improvement, and cost optimization in a complex organizational environment.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare supply chain best practices, regulations, and industry trends.
• Experience with supply chain technologies systems and supply chain analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications are desirable
