About the role
The Flat6labs Community Officer is responsible for developing strong brand awareness, building communities with ecosystem enablers, implementing outreach activities including meet up events, press conferences, and support in implementing the program’s marketing strategy and activities including communications, social media accounts, in addition to, and generating inbound traffic for the program.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a seamless journey for startups from sourcing to graduation.
- Act as a key representative/ambassador for the program in the startup ecosystem, introducing potential startups and Entrepreneurs to the program, in addition to delivering the program’s info sessions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with founders, mentors, speakers, and coaches throughout the program.
- Develop a strong brand awareness within different governorates.
- Work collaboratively with teams to create and manage an integrated online/ offline marketing & communication strategy.
- Live coverage of activities and events on various online channels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the media and press, and support program PR activities.
- Have a list of suppliers on the ground to support related program events.
- Create, maintain, and update the online/ offline events calendar to be accessible for all team members.
- Prepare and manage invitations to various events and activities related to the program.
- Attend ecosystem events across the country; Workshops, Conferences, Meetup Events, etc
- Enhance program content to meet business objectives.
- Regularly research potential stakeholders within the community.
- Establish and maintain internal and external cooperative relationships within the community.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in marketing, communication, and/or community management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders and partners.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and stakeholders with attention to detail and discretion.
- A highly proactive individual who is passionate about entrepreneurship and startups will generate a constant pipeline of startups while always keeping up to date with the ecosystem’s trends and activities.
