Position Title: Senior Cost Control Engineer
Position Overview:
We are hiring a Senior Cost Control Engineer to manage cost tracking, reporting, forecasting, and risk analysis for our construction projects. This fully remote role requires 3–5 years of experience with general contractors and familiarity with U.S. construction standards or equivalent international practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project budgeting, invoicing plans, and cash flow/S-curve development
- Prepare cost reports: Actual vs. Budget, EAC, FTC using EVM techniques
- Analyze change orders and assess financial impact
- Monitor cash flow and billing schedules
- Maintain accuracy in ERP and cost control systems (SAP, Procore, Primavera, CostX)
- Coordinate with Estimating, Finance, Procurement, and Scheduling teams
- Present cost performance updates to internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance
- 3–5 years’ cost control experience (U.S.-based or comparable market)
- Proficient in cost tools: Excel, SAP, Procore, Primavera, or similar
- Strong understanding of EVM, GAAP, and construction contracts (AIA/CMAA)
- Able to work independently in a remote team environment
Preferred:
- CCP, PMP, or PMI-SP certification
- Experience with multifamily or large-scale commercial projects
- Familiarity with subcontractor buyouts and scheduling software
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: E£2,280.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
