- Collaborate with business units to understand operational needs, pain points, and strategic
objectives.
- Translate business requirements into actionable KPIs, metrics, and visualizations in
Power BI.
- Use Azure Data-bricks as the central data source, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and
governance.
- Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for
improvement.
- Continuously refine and enhance reports, dashboards, and datasets based on user
feedback and business evolution.
- Work with the Data Engineering team to ensure data pipelines in Data-bricks are
optimized for reporting and analytics needs.
- Validate data accuracy and ensure that all reporting aligns with the single source of truth
strategy.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop a data-driven decision-making culture within the
organization.
- Proactively suggest and implement improvements to reporting processes and data
models.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Power BI – including DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced dashboard design.
- Solid working experience with Azure Data-bricks (Delta tables, Spark SQL, data transformation).
- Understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming datasets.
- Experience working with large datasets and optimizing performance for BI consumption.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with non-technical stakeholders and translate needs into actionable solutions.
- Proven track record of delivering business outcome-focused analytics solutions.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or other modern analytics platforms.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices in Azure.
- Experience with KPI frameworks and business performance measurement.
- Domain knowledge in [Insert industry/domain – e.g., finance, retail, manufacturing].
