Their digital operations span 10+ e-commerce platforms and a mobile app, backed by innovative technology, robust logistics, and a customer-centric approach. With a strong legacy and continued growth, the company remains a major player in the regional fashion and beauty landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a 1-year commercial calendar aligned with brand and sales objectives.
- Build and implement a strong acquisition plan for the B2B app through digital marketing, sales reps, and targeted partnerships.
- Set quarterly promotional and discount budgets and ensure adherence.
- Commercial & Brand Management
- Maintain close communication with brand directors/managers to stay informed on product availability, new launches, and promotional opportunities.
- Collaborate with content teams or agencies to develop engaging, conversion-driven content for social and digital platforms.
- Digital & Media Performance
- Lead media buying strategy with support from the digital team to achieve optimal Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
- Work alongside the technology team to request and prioritize app features that enhance conversion rate, average order value (AOV), and customer retention.
- Partnership Development
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships (e.g., BNPL providers, payment gateways, seasonal brand collaborations) to enhance sales channels and user engagement.
- Team & Operations Oversight
- Manage and coach 2 direct reports and a total team of 5 members.
- Ensure operational performance meets customer expectations, identifying gaps and driving continuous improvement in service levels.
Requirements
Experience:
- 10+ years of overall business experience.
- 5+ years of B2B commercial experience.
- 2–3 years of e-commerce experience.
- Proven experience in the beauty industry is required.
- Experience with online marketplaces (Amazon, Jumia, etc.) is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably with a Marketing major.
