This Position reports to:
Service Manager
You will supervise a team of Service Engineers and Service Technicians and contribute to the execution of the Service strategy and Service growth by focusing on delivering timely, high quality, cost effective service offerings, solutions and projects (e.g. field service, repair) for customers. Drive Service achievements through effective planning and allocation of resources in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.
You will be mainly responsible for:
- Ensuring planning and executing of various Service activities carried out both off and on site. Driving and monitoring Service execution with respect to the agreed terms of schedule, quality, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction.
- Allocating, driving and monitoring work to projects based on order content, delivery time, competencies and workload. Effectively utilizing available resources through proper planning and scheduling to meet delivery targets (e.g., OTD, response time, ordered service offerings, updating of installed based data).
- Ensuring work assignments are accurately classifying as warrantee or non-warrantee status. Ensuring that materials and components to feed Service delivery are providing, optimizing cost, stock and timing.
- Collaborating within local service units and with other Service teams to promoting One ABB approach towards customers. Building sustainable customer relationships to ensuring local client growth, satisfaction and retention together with Sales. Driving consistent development of processes and practices based on customer feedback (Net Promoter Score (NPS)).
- Driving continuous service productivity improvement activities in the assigned Service team in collaboration with the Operational Excellence team. Utilizing efficient tools (Pulsar and Sales Force) for streamlining Service processes and applications to support the customer. Ensuring the transfer of Service findings to the product/system local units for improving of their offerings.
- Ensuring compliance with Group health, safety and environmental directives, and ensuring instructions and regulations are implementing well within the team (including subcontractors), while monitoring and reporting progress and results. Assessing risks and safety hazards and implementing actions for ensuring people and equipment safety.
- Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organizing, resourcing and supervising. Ensuring all Field Service team members are certifying in line with global certification and local regulations. Reviewing competence levels for ensuring each Service Engineer (including subcontractors) is appropriately qualifying for handling jobs assigned to them
Qualifications for the role:
- You have 4 to 6 years of experience in control systems
- Ability to demonstrate a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation & Control, with grade very good
- You have an automation background in engineering, projects, and service contracts
- You have Oil & Gas – Fertilizer process knowledge
- You have experience working in Symphony Plus, 800XA, IEC, Advant, AC800M, and AC800HI
- You are at ease communicating fluently in both spoken & written English and Arabic
