About The Role
As a Group Accounting Control & Tax Manager, you will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of group-wide financial reporting, tax obligations, and internal controls. You will deliver timely consolidated financials, strengthen governance, and support strategic decision-making across all entities.
What You'll Do
Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/local GAAP.
- Ensure timely submission of monthly group-level financial reports
- Review and validate subsidiary financials for accuracy, intercompany eliminations, and alignment with group policies.
Accounting Governance & Internal Controls
- Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures across
the group to ensure consistency and compliance. - Monitor internal control frameworks and conduct regular reviews to ensure financial integrity and risk mitigation.
- Design reconciliation processes for key accounts (e.g., banks Vs Fin ops Operation, intercompany, payables/receivables, other credit / other debit balances).
Tax Compliance & Advisory
- Oversee corporate tax, VAT, and withholding tax compliance across jurisdictions (e.g. UAE, KSA, Egypt, Netherlands).
- Manage tax filings and ensure timely submissions in coordination with external advisors.
Audit & Regulatory Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities across the group.
- Coordinate audit fieldwork, financial statement reviews, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
- Ensure all statutory filings and compliance obligations are met across group entities.
ERP Systems & Financial Controls
- Support the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems (Odoo) to improve reporting accuracy and automation.
- Establish financial control routines over purchasing payroll, and settlement cycles.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Supervise accounting and Control teams provide training and process oversight.
What You'll Need
The ideal candidate must have 6–8 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years at a Big 4 audit firm.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates a composed and confident presence, remains calm under pressure, and shows consistent dedication to their responsibilities, while handling confidential information with professionalism and trustworthiness.
This role requires an energetic, proactive, and results-oriented individual with a strong sense of urgency and ownership. The candidate should possess a combination of creative thinking and analytical problem solving skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement across finance functions.
