- Define
and drive the enterprise integration architecture strategy aligned
with business and regulatory goals.
- Lead
the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions
using:
- IBM
App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- IBM
API Connect
- IBM
DataPower Gateway
- Software
AG WebMethods
- Apache
Kafka / Kafka Streams
- Architect secure, scalable, and reusable APIs, microservices, and event-driven
integration flows.
- Establish
and enforce integration standards, frameworks, and governance models across teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, developers, and
integration teams.
- Oversee API lifecycle management, data transformation, and business process
orchestration.
- Collaborate
with stakeholders (business, security, operations, and IT teams) to
ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization of integration and
streaming platforms.
- Stay
current with emerging integration technologies, cloud-native
patterns, and vendor product advancements.
- Act as
a trusted advisor for leadership on integration best practices,
modernization, and technology roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s
or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
field.
- 10+
years of experience in enterprise integration and middleware,
preferably in banking sector.
- Proven
expertise with IBM App Connect, IBM API Connect, IBM DataPower and Software
AG WebMethods
- Strong
knowledge of event-driven architecture and real-time data
streaming with expertise in Apache Kafka / Kafka Streams.
- Solid
understanding of SOA, ESB, microservices, API-first, and event-driven
systems.
- Proficiency
in messaging/data protocols (REST, SOAP, JMS, MQ, Kafka topics).
- Experience
with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Demonstrated team leadership skills, with experience managing integration teams.
- Deep
understanding of financial systems integration, regulatory
compliance, and security requirements.
- Proven
ability to engage with business stakeholders to translate
requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to
simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated
experience aligning software architecture and integration strategy with
overall business objectives.
