Job Description
- Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
- Coordinate and prioritize work orders to minimize production downtime
- Lead and supervise maintenance engineers and contractors, providing guidance and training.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability when needed.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Identify process improvements and equipment upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support projects and new equipment installations.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions..
- Analyses the frequent failures, diagnosing its causes, suggesting suitable treats and supervising corrective action to decrease the probability of those failure.
Areas of Responsibilities:
Approving vacations and excuses of engineers.
Assessing performance of engineers within Performance management system.
Organizational Relationships:
- Supervision of all maintenance engineers inside the factory.
- Functional relationships with: all Plant’s department
- External Relationships: suppliers/service providers
Education, Skills, Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; mechatronics preferably.
- +10 years of experience in in related field preferably in home appliances field.
- Proficiency of English language (written and oral).
- Good literal of MS office and computer skills.
- Good knowledge of PLC & robots.
- General knowledge of Oracle system.
- Expert in manufacturing and utilities management.
- Ability for leadership.
Working Conditions:
Work across the shopfloor in plant. Full-time hours in industrial and factory environments during all shifts, including nights and weekends. Overtime may be required.
