We are hiring immediately for Mechanical Technician - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers and the role is typically field based focusing on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation and its site based.

Responsibilities
To carry out ‘A’ service maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators
To carry out major maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators
To carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on mechanical equipment including DC control circuits.
To carry out Aggreko ‘Health Checks’, interpret results and carry out required adjustments / repairs.
To carry out procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems
To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics.
Operate the Aggreko service mobility system.
To operate, diagnose Aggreko generator controllers.
Issuing non- AC electrical ‘permit to work’. (LOTO)
Assisting with the installation and demobilization of Aggreko equipment.
To follow and comply with Aggreko QHSE standards.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Minimum)
+3 years minimum in similar role
+3 Experience in Oil & Gas field
Good Communication skills (English and Arabic) - must be able to complete reports legibly.
Effective troubleshooting capability.
Ability to read electrical drawings.
Ability to work in a team environment, but also on own initiative.
Previous Experience with Cummins/Iveco/Scania Diesel Generator engines.
Previous experience in GAS Engine is a plus.
