We’re looking for a passionate and highly skilled Professional Services Consultant to join our team at NCR Atleos, a global leader in banking technology and ATM software solutions.
As part of our growing Professional Services team, you will work closely with banking clients to deliver world-class support, deployment, and integration services across NCR’s software and hardware platforms. You will act as a technical expert, a problem solver, and a key player in successful project delivery.
Job Description Summary
The Professional Services Consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and customizing NCR's banking software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with client environments. This role requires strong technical skills, deep understanding of banking technologies, and excellent communication abilities to manage both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll also play a key role in post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients to deploy, configure, and integrate NCR banking software products (e.g., NDC – XFS - vision - SWD etc..) into complex IT environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across software, hardware, databases, and networks.
- Analyze root causes and implement long-term solutions for recurring problems.
- Escalate unresolved software issues to global support teams with clear documentation and logs.
- Develop, modify, and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, CMD, etc.) to improve deployment and troubleshooting processes.
- Support database administration and query analysis using platforms like Microsoft SQL Server.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and global support teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Contribute to internal knowledge base and documentation.
- Provide training and technical guidance to clients and junior team members as needed.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation in the banking sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in the banking, fintech, or IT services industry.
- Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, LAN/WAN), certified or self-trained in CCNA, CompTIA Network+.
- Proficient in SQL, system administration, and database troubleshooting.
- Solid experience with DBMS platforms like Microsoft SQL Server and others.
- Proficient in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, CMD, Batch scripting).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments and banking application protocols.
- Experience with ITIL/incident management, Agile delivery, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written – especially for technical communication and escalation with international teams.
- Exposure to AI technologies, Power BI for data analysis, and modern fintech solutions is a plus.
- Experience with ITIL processes and Service Management tools is preferred.
