Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue & Reservations Manager to join our team in Ras El Hekma, Egypt. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue and optimizing occupancy rates for our property while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to make data-driven pricing decisions
- Manage and oversee the reservations department, ensuring efficient booking processes and excellent customer service
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business goals
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy rates
- Manage relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs) and global distribution systems (GDS)
- Create and present regular reports on revenue performance and forecasts to senior management
- Train and mentor reservations staff on upselling techniques and customer service best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative revenue management techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in revenue management or reservations within the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in revenue management systems and property management systems (PMS)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Expertise in pricing strategies, yield management, and forecasting techniques
- Experience working with online travel agencies (OTAs) and global distribution systems (GDS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry trends and market dynamics
- Must have worked in the same market in Egypt
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
