Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) focused on expansion, you will play a critical role in driving growth within Archer’s existing customer base. Your primary focus will be on identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities for Archer’s RMIS (Risk Management Information System) product. You will act as a consultant to our clients, uncovering needs, sharing industry best practices, and aligning Archer’s RMIS capabilities with client goals.
What You’ll Achieve
• Identify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Consult with clients to understand their evolving risk management needs and align Archer’s RMIS solutions accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Customer Success teams to coordinate outreach and follow-up.
• Leverage marketing campaigns, product updates, and client feedback to initiate expansion conversations.
• Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives and prospects.
• Meet activity goals (daily/weekly/monthly) and performance metrics including Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), meetings booked, and opportunities created.
• Champion Archer’s core values and represent the brand professionally in all client interactions.
Essential Requirements
• Knowledge of applicable technology, products, and services, including Salesforce CRM.
• Ability to identify how Archer’s RMIS product aligns with customer needs.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in a sales or client-facing role.
• Self-starter with a desire to learn, grow, and excel independently.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Desirable Requirements
• Proven success in an SDR, BDR, Account Executive, or similar role (SaaS experience preferred).
• Experience using CRMs and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, 6sense, Salesloft, LinkedIn SalesNavigator).
• Creative outreach strategies to engage existing clients.
• Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM) is a plus.
