This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP QM solutions to meet business requirements.
- Provide expert-level support for existing SAP QM functionalities.
- Conduct requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP QM related issues.
- Collaborate with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD) to ensure seamless integration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP QM processes.
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
- Contribute to process improvements and optimization initiatives within quality management.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects related to SAP QM.
- Work with various QM functionalities like Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Quality Notifications, Quality Control, Quality Certificates.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP QM configuration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of quality management processes, including quality planning, inspection, notifications, and control.
- Expertise in master data management (MDM) within SAP QM.
- Experience with SAP QM sub-modules.
- Proficiency in ABAP debugging and basic programming is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
