Spacetoon Education is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Animator to captivating animations tailored for children’s educational content. The ideal candidate has a strong background in character animation, storyboarding, and motion design, with hands-on experience using Moho and Toon Boom Harmony.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute high-quality animations for educational video content.
Collaborate with design teams to develop storyboards and animatics.
Animate characters, environments, and transitions in a lively and expressive way that fits the Spacetoon brand.
Supervise junior animators and provide artistic guidance and feedback.
Ensure all animation meets production deadlines and quality standards.
Adapt animation techniques to fit various educational themes, age groups, and formats.
Propose creative ideas and improvements to enhance visual storytelling.
Qualifications & Skills:
5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, preferably in children’s or educational content.
Proficiency in Moho (Anime Studio) and Toon Boom Harmony is a must.
Strong understanding of character rigging, lip-syncing, and expressive movement.
Familiarity with storyboarding and animatic creation tools (e.g., Storyboard Pro is a plus).
Excellent sense of timing, storytelling, and visual pacing.
Ability to lead projects from concept to final delivery with minimal supervision.
Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
A strong portfolio showcasing animated content, especially character-driven work.
