Duties:
- Conducts assigned complex audit engagements –that requires special qualifications & experience - successfully from beginning to end.
- Participate in actual fieldwork to ensure quality of work and procedure.
- Supervises junior auditors assigned to engagements providing guidance and overall review of deliverables.
- Develops audit programs and testing procedures.
- Obtains and reviews evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented
- Ensures adherence at all times to all applicable department and professional standards
- Communicates assigned tasks to engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise ensuring high quality, accurate, and efficient results.
- Ability to observe and understand business processes ensuring processes are documented completely and accurately.
- Ability to apply audit standards through practical application.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team and ensure successful results.
- Successful audits and identification of major risks and deficiencies
- Results Oriented – Meet deadlines on assignments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or any relevant field from a reputable university.
- Minimum 10 years of Banking experience including 3 years of broad based audit.
- Wide exposure to internal audit processes and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of internal audit practice in banks.
- In-depth knowledge of CBE regulations.
- Proven track record preferably with banking sector experience.
- Internal audit qualifications: CIA is an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of CBE regulations.
- Solid listening & understanding skills.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Excellent organization & follow up skills including the ability to handle competing priorities & meet all deadlines & commitments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness & ability to adapt to new circumstances, information & challenges.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: E£40,000.00 - E£90,000.00 per month
