About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Social Media & Content Specialist to take ownership of our organic content performance across Egypt and the UAE. This isn’t a content creation role — you’ll be the bridge between content coordination, analytics, and creative execution. Your focus will be on making sure our organic strategy and influencer-driven content translate into measurable results. You’ll oversee day-to-day publishing, track performance across social, website, and blog, and surface insights that sharpen our voice in the financial world.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Brand and work across all active markets (currently Egypt & UAE).
What you’ll do:
Channel Management & Content Coordination
Manage the publishing calendar and posting operations across Egypt and UAE organic social media channels.
Coordinate with brand, creative, and growth teams to ensure content is on-strategy and on-time.
Write clear, insight-driven briefs that guide the creative team toward impactful ideas aligned with our financial and brand objectives.
Partner with influencer managers to track content performance and feed learnings back into the strategy.
Analytics & Reporting (Organic Only)
Monitor performance across organic social channels, website, and blog.
Build regular reports highlighting organic reach, engagement, influencer content performance, and audience insights.
Spot social and cultural trends early, surfacing them with clear recommendations.
Benchmark organic content performance against competitors and industry standards.
Website & Blog Management
Oversee publishing workflows and updates for the website and blog.
Own the relationship with the WordPress developer to ensure updates and fixes are executed smoothly.
Track analytics to improve user experience and engagement.
Research & Financial Insights
Conduct research to support financial content briefs (market trends, investment insights, consumer finance).
Translate insights into content ideas that resonate with varied audience segments.
Stay close to both financial industry trends and cultural conversations.
What You’ll Need to Thrive Here:
Sufficient experience in organic social media management, content coordination, or analytics (experience in finance/fintech a plus).
Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using tools like Meta Business Suite, YouTube Analytics, TikTok Insights, Google Analytics & Third Party social media analytics tools.
Knowledge of WordPress for content management.
High proficiency in Excel for reporting and performance tracking.
Ability to spot organic trends and turn them into actionable creative opportunities, that would feed into the creative team
Excellent communication and briefing skills — you can turn insights into sharp direction for creative teams.
Interest in financial markets and research-driven content.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workflows at once.
What we look for in a person:
Culturally In Tune: You stay up to date on trends and understand the cultural landscape.
Driven to Help: You have a genuine urge to help people and make a positive impact, and you see the direct effect of how investing does that for others.
Investor Mindset: Either you’re already an investor or you’re passionate about starting your investment journey.
Collaborative Nature: You’re easy to work with and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Positive Attitude: We come from the school of a solution-first/we’ll figure it out/no problem can’t be solved mindset—we’re looking for someone to match that energy!
Please don’t apply, if:

You expect a boring 9-5 job; this role needs agility, commitment, drive and an appetite open to constant change.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Brand. Please note that this role requires scope for all active markets (Currently UAE & Egypt).
At Thndr, we seek individuals with brains, passion, compassion, and a drive to help others do more with their lives. On the brand team, you’ll work on both short- and long-term projects and strategies that help make investing culturally relevant in the region.
