What you'll do
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing daily Banking operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate and timely financial information, supporting informed business decisions in a fast-paced financial services environment.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibility
Manage daily cash activity and funding for international entities
Maintain accurate bank balances and perform cash positioning
Own bank reconciliations and follow up on unreconciled items across multiple entities and currencies
Initiate and monitor intercompany and third-party payments
Partner with local accounting teams to coordinate month-end cash closing activities
Record journal entries into Oracle to account for accruals, prepaids and payroll transactions
Manage month-end Reconciliations for cash, prepaids and accruals
Assist in preparing reconciliations and executing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Job Designation
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring
Basic
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Experience working in a multi-national company, preferably US Headquartered
- Experience using Oracle or other major ERP systems
Preferred
- Familiarity with multi-currency environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with ability to work independently when needed
- Comfortable interacting with various levels across the organization
