We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Engineering Specialist at Nissan Motor Egypt. The ideal candidate will standardize processes in compliance with NPW (Nissan Production Way), manage technicians, optimize packaging, and drive digitization. Responsibilities include tracking projects requisitions, minimizing inventory losses, and reporting digitalization progress. This role requires excellent leadership, strong negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Good communication, presentation, and organizational skills essential.
A Day in the Life:
Applying NPW: Verifies application of NPW standards within Material Handling and inventory areas through audits and operational sheets.
Managing technicians: Supervises direct and semi-direct shop floor personnel to ensure efficient daily storage operations and task execution.
Developing packaging: Leads local suppliers in designing and implementing returnable packaging solutions to eliminate double handling and reduce environmental impact.
Tracking procurement: Issues Purchase Requests (PRs) for tools/equipment and tracking delivery to NMEG.
Driving digitization: Identifies manual processes suitable for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and contributes to the digital transformation roadmap.
Monitoring inventory: Ensures real-time tracking for high stock accuracy, minimizes losses (deterioration, pilferage, waste, damages), and maintains part condition.
Mitigating risks: Reports parts availability status, foreseen risks, and countermeasures to management to secure the production plan.
Who We’re Looking for:
Bachelor of Science in manufacturing / engineering / supply chain / logistics
1-2 years of experience in a relevant role
Knowledge of Warehouse and Material Handling Operations.
Good knowledge and usage of applications such as SAP, Excel (Solver), Visio, Power BI, Minitab
Fluency in English and Arabic
