Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the backup data i.e., VAT return workings, in relation to all VAT compliances.
- Reviewing daily VAT transactions to increase compliance, and work on the VAT preparations.
- Reviewing tax recovery processes and ensuring that such processes are put in place, where applicable and any compliance issues are addressed
- Able to undertake vat audits.
- Prepare and manage all documents in line with VAT regulations and other related activities.
- In-depth knowledge of tax accounting and bookkeeping processes.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns in compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Review and analyze financial data to ensure accurate reporting of taxable income and deductions.
- Assist with tax provision calculations and financial statement disclosures.
- Identifying and carrying out other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in VAT is mandatory.- Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate tax is mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Tax or Accountancy.
- UAE VAT & Corporate tax knowledge will be a huge advantage.
- Ability to learn new tax laws and regulations.
- Very good English communication skills in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
