What You Will Do
- Prepare and cook teppanyaki-style dishes in front of guests.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized cooking station.
- Engage with guests and provide an entertaining dining experience.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of dishes.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Handle special dietary requests and food allergies with care.
- Ensure consistency in taste and presentation of dishes.
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Participate in menu planning and development.
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures.
- Proven experience as a Teppanyaki Chef.
- In-depth knowledge of teppanyaki cooking techniques.
- Excellent knife skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and a passion for culinary arts.
- Ability to entertain and engage with guests.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Proficiency in handling kitchen equipment and tools.
What You Bring
· Requires a working knowledge of division operations.
· Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.
