The Platforms Development & Integration team within Technology _VOIS is a group of experienced and talented
developers building applications for IoT, Mobile Private Networks, health, and more to come. We support Vodafone
Business to become a leading provider of high-quality business solutions globally.
As part of the Platforms Development & Integration team, we are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer with strong
experience in creating user-centred designs for digital products. You will work within a multi-disciplinary Agile team,
everyday learning something new from your peers, with space to perform your own proof-of-concepts to learn new
technologies, as well as collaborating in new opportunities with companies with local impact.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Act as an owner of various tasks associated with
user research, UX design, content design, and
visual design on both large and small scale
solutions
• Work independently or with a team of UX
professionals to create assets that reflect a
brand, enforce a language, and delight the user.
• Involved with the project throughout the design
and development cycle and works closely with a
variety of stakeholders to ensure standards of
excellence.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards,
process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like
menus, tabs and widgets
• Build app navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly
illustrate how applications function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images,
sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal
teams and key stakeholders
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Excellent communication skills in verbal, written
and formal presentation formats
• Exceptional ability to balance priorities and
business / design trade-offs.
• You communicate effectively with technical and
non-technical people.
• You are an innovator, and you constantly seek
to improve your knowledge and your work.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• 4+ years of professional experience in UI/UX
design.
• Proficient in modern design tools such as Figma,
Sketch and prototyping tools.
• Strong and consistent user focus, demonstrated
through putting the user and their needs ahead
of features and technology.
• Demonstrated knowledge in Photoshop,
Illustrator, and/or other design tools
• Good knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Excellent understanding of user-centered
design principles and methodologies.
