- Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions across warehouses, production, and procurement systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock levels and investigate discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory variances and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, adjustments, and valuations in the ERP or accounting system.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reports for management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies related to inventory management.
- Collaborate with supply chain, production, and finance teams to support inventory planning, costing, and forecasting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to inventory.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory accounting and contribute to system enhancements.
