We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team in 6th of October City, Egypt. In this role, you will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and developing our talented F&B team.
- Assist in managing daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high standards of quality and service
- Collaborate with the F&B Manager to develop and implement innovative menu concepts and service strategies
- Lead, train, and mentor F&B team members to deliver outstanding customer service
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, implement cost control measures, and optimize profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist in planning and executing special events and promotions
- Analyze sales data and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Participate in staff scheduling and payroll management
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in F&B operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior Food & Beverage role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and standards
- Creative problem-solver with the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
- In-depth knowledge of various cuisines and current culinary trends
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control techniques
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Food safety certification
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
