Job purpose:
Assist in monitoring and analyzing costs to support budgeting and decision-making processes. The role focuses on preparing cost reports, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring efficient financial operations under guidance.
Main Accountabilities:
- Track actual production order costs incurred against standard costs.
- Create material master data and cost estimates
- Verify active materials with standard costs
- Conduct freight and customs analysis for export materials
- Check MIGO entries before month-end closing.
- Monitor weekly energy consumption alerts and review consumptions against budget rates
- Perform pre-requisite checks for month-end closing.
- Manage month-end closing for tempo orders.
- oversee month-end closing for production orders.
- Conduct monthly industrial closing checks.
- Review all posting entries (GR55) and make necessary allocation entries.
- Review the status of Capex orders and the order entries associated with them.
- Stock reval process for RM, Pack, Semifinished and finished.
- Check RM, Pack, Finished Rates Vs STD and analyse.
- Verify and analyse the rates for raw materials, packaging and finished goods against the standard rates during stoxk revaluation.
- Check all scrap movements and validate the reasons with the respective owners.
- Check the open balance of GIRI and send the balance to the owner for closure.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 2-3 years experience in Costing.
- SAP User.
- Strong skills in analyzing information.
