The Employee Relations Senior Manager at Hyde Park Developments plays a critical role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring effective communication between management and employees. This role focuses on developing and implementing employee relations strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, while also addressing employee concerns and enhancing workplace culture.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with employees and management to identify problems and resolve conflicts
- Conduct investigations in response to employees/management complaints and provide appropriate resolutions
- Provide guidance and advice to management on disciplinary actions, terminations, and employment laws and regulations
- Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations issues such as diversity, sexual harassment, and discrimination
- Analyze employee relations/investigation data to identify trends and develop strategies for improvement
- Ensure compliance with local employment/insurance laws and regulations as well practices in the market
- Collaborate with HR team to update and maintain other HR policies and procedures
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives
- Ensure company policies and practices are compliant with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Provide advice and counsel to management and employees regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.
- Monitor HR trends and regulations to ensure company practices remain current and compliant.
- Train managers and employees on conflict resolution and communication skills.
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with employees to identify and address concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Employee Relations Manager or similar role.
- 8-10 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of labor/Insurance law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
