Role Purpose:
The External Comms and Media Relations Lead will drive and execute proactively the external communications plan to deliver the company’s strategic messages and business objectives consistently. A yearly Integrated plan that protects, builds a positive company reputation, and strengthen brand credibility with external stakeholders while amplifying Vodafone Egypt’s commitment to its purpose.
The role will help Vodafone Egypt maintain a credible leadership platform and also help secure positive share of voice in terms of media coverage. A key element will be to encourage the media to report and comment favorably on Vodafone Egypt, its products, and services, while minimizing negative comment and effectively managing reputation issues. Ultimately this role supports Vodafone Egypt in delivering against its business objectives and underpins and strengthens Vodafone’s position as a global & local leader.
What you’ll do
- Help Articulate Vodafone Egypt’s corporate narrative with story telling approach including values and messages to external audiences and media that amplifies our purpose and drives a positive reputation YoY.
- Create a forward-thinking, digital first, creative holistic communications plan that supports products and marketing campaigns and delivers on the company’s business objectives.
- Manage media relations through an integrated media plan
- Engage with media partners online and in-person

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Education
• University graduate preferably with a degree in Communications or Marketing
Work Experience
• +5 years with experience in communications & PR preferably managing media relations

• Conversant with latest technology, especially digital communication
