Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile trial balance accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including accruals and adjustments.
- Handle cash operations tasks for the Swiss entity including cash journals.
- Support receivables accounting key activities.
- Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Support balance sheet reconciliation for assigned accounts & resolve all the reviewing action points.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting the closing process to ensure compliance with reporting deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Support various types of tax audits, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to general ledger activities.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 3+ years of accounting & financial analysis experience.
- Practical Experience and understanding of US GAAP is preferred.
- Experience in the agribusiness or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
- Strong accounting experience with good technical knowledge.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Time Management and ability to meet required deadlines.
- Work experience in a multinational environment or international business experience.
